Automated LightScribe Duplicator for Quality CD and DVD Copies
With an automated LightScribe duplicator you can copy and print discs with LightScribe’s laser-etching technology. LightScribe technology first became available in 2004 and remains one of the most popular optical disc recording and printing technologies today because it offers users an all-in-one recording and labeling solution – the same laser that is used to burn the data onto a disc is also used to burn the image. After burning data to the read-side of the disc, the automated LightScribe duplicator will turn the disc over to etch on the label side that is specially coated with a reactive dye that changes color upon absorbing the laser light. Tower LightScribe duplicators are also available.
