A tower LightScribe duplicator is a unique disc publishing system that uses the same laser to burn your data (photos, music, backup files, etc.) and etch images onto the surface of your CDs or DVDs. When the duplicator completes burning a CD or DVD, the user simply flips the disc over and the LightScribe’s laser-etching technology then burns the desired image onto the specially coated side of the disc. LightScribe discs are coated with a reactive dye that changes color when in contact with the laser in order to produce texts or graphics – without the need for ink or ribbons!
